Today I had a tasty adventure with Angela, Diana and Angel. Both Angela and Diana are food bloggers and we decided that today would be a feasting blogging adventure. We went to Black and Blue for dinner. I had never been there. Now I have been under the weather the last few days but I was not going to miss today for that.
First I had a nice catch up with Angel at Thierry. I had a homemade ginger soda…in a word – refreshing.
We then walked over to Black and Blue. They have been open 6 months. I found it to be elegant and an atmosphere that has charm and character and you feel like you are in New York. I have seen visible wine lockers but a visible meat locker? We used this as an opportunity to not only support the food blogs, but more to catch up with each other. I ordered their New York Strip – P.E.I Blue Ribbon. This was one of the best steaks I have ever had. As a side, the deep fried mac and cheese…very nice! The 20 layer chocolate cake and cheese cake we shared was a nice way to end the evening.
