Will-ing and able alumnis

Today was one of those fun catch up days. The kind where you got both a one on one soulful catch up as well as a large group of familiar faces.

My one on one was with Will. If you remember from the very first post, Will was the one who did all the work on the blog to get it up and running. He has been my enabler and created the platform for me to be able to share all my thoughts throughout 2012. It was great to sit and catch up to hear about his dreams that he is doing and how he is comfortable with where he is in life. What I really appreciate about Will is that he has overcome his personal challenges/adversity and has a wonderful perspective on life. I like to see people like Will succeed…someone solid to the core.

The other positive for today was the company of my alumni at our semesterly social at Malones on Pender. You never know who is going to come out but it was great to catch up and see the many faces…some of them were there the entire time and others were there for literally 30 seconds…just to make an appearance and give me a hug…I am blessed. Thank you to Carla C, Paul C, Kim J, David Y, Sean P, Tim C, Larisa T, Derek T, Kyle I, Juliana H, Sajeda V, Amanda N, Fred B, Elaine L, Rosanne N, Amit B, Maureen F, Kirk H and I am sorry if I missed anyone…I am just going through my head on who I saw. My goal on this is to continue to grow this. I always enjoy when people meet up after not seeing each other in a while or meeting each other for the first time. I hear of the stories of where they are presently and where they are heading for the future. Some have children, some are engaged/married and some pursuing their masters…I am in the company of greatness.

I guess you could say that I had the extremes of a really great one on one catch up and a multitude of people who all wound up catching up with each other. Best of both worlds today! Each one is building an autobiography worth reading.
